Important: Do you have little experience with washing or does it involve expensive clothing (silk, wool, cashmere, evening wear, ornamentation)?
Don't experiment. Improper washing or drying often causes irreparable damage (shrinkage, loss of color, distortion).
In many cases, even a professional dry cleaner cannot repair that damage. Think twice.
