Answers to your questions about spots, care and outcomes

Why is the stain not completely gone?

Not all stains can disappear completely, even with professional care. This has to do with:

  • the chemical nature of the stain

  • old age

  • the type of textile

  • and previous (home) treatments

Some stains oxidize (by light, air or heat) and set into the fiber. In this case, the discoloration is permanent, even with professional cleaning.

🧪 We always work within the physical and chemical limits of the textile and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

👕 We clean and de-stain according to the care and composition label. If additional treatments are requested that differ from this, this is done entirely at the customer's own risk.

So this is not a matter of ignorance, but of reality.
We focus on maximum improvement - without causing harm.

Each stain reacts differently. We analyze based on:

  • Stain type (grease, wine, oil, medication, deodorant...)

  • Age of the stain

  • Fabric type (cotton, silk, linen, wool, synthetic)

  • Previous (home) treatments

  • Maintenance label and structure

For example, a recent wine stain on cotton is easier to treat than an old ointment stain on silk.

Then we stop. We always make a technical assessment: if additional de-staining poses more risk of damage than improvement, we take no further action.

We work on a best-efforts basis: we promise maximum care, not a guarantee of results.
Your clothing is our starting point - preventing damage is as important as improving it.

Some tips you see online or on social media - like dish soap, vinegar, or even toothpaste - seem harmless, but can cause irreparable damage.

🔬 These products "fix" stains in the fibers or cause chemical reactions that we cannot correct afterwards. Persistent rubbing can also damage the fabric's structure.

➡️ Consequence: even with professional techniques, removal is then less effective or completely impossible.

Advice: Leave the stain as soon as possible and bring the garment to us without additional intervention. Real care starts with knowing when not to intervene yourself.

Premium with us means:

  • Manual defleshing (each)

  • Delicate products for delicate fabrics

  • Risk analysis for each garment

  • Slow, gentle wash cycles

  • More time and manual labor

  • Additional aftercare such as pressing and inspection

It is not a luxury storage, but a guarantee of care and responsibility, for example with silk, linen, wool, white and designer pieces.

You pay for the professional service performed:
🔍 analysis,
🧼 manual de-staining,
⚙️ deployment of energy, products, labor and
⚖️ risk assessment with each garment.

The result depends on the condition of the garment, not on our effort or diligence.

💊 Think of a drug: if it doesn't work, you don't go to the pharmacy to ask for your money back, either.
The treatment is carefully chosen and done correctly, but the body - or in this case, the substance - helps determine the effect.

🛑 We never make unnecessary attempts.
If we estimate in advance that further treatment will not yield anything, we say so transparently and honestly.

Our promise is: maximum care, no false guarantees.

These substances require:

  • More time

  • More crafts

  • Higher precision

  • Specific products and presses

They also react more sensitively to chemistry, water and temperature.
White shows every imperfection. Silk shrinks or discolors quickly. Linen requires separate finishing.

The supplement is not a surcharge "because it is luxurious," but because the treatment is more complex and labor-intensive.

Buttons, zippers, buckles and other finishes may already have weakened due to normal use, age or production variations. During cleaning, these parts are not treated or checked separately, as our focus is on the safe cleaning of the textile itself, according to the care label.

🧵 Therefore, although we treat each garment with the utmost care, we cannot take responsibility for accessories that become loose or defective during or after handling.

🔍 By comparison:
If you take your car through the carwash and an old windshield wiper breaks off, it's usually due to wear and tear - not the carwash itself. It works the same way with textiles: we don't cause the problem, but sometimes inevitably bring existing weaknesses to light.

The psychology of stains - a positive perspective

When people get their clothes back, they often focus on the one stain that is not completely gone. That's human - but not always necessary. Most people won't even notice that small residual stain. The garment remains perfectly wearable and looks cared for.The goal is not absolute perfection, but wearing comfort, appearance and confidence. Just like imperfections in the skin or a scratch on your glasses: you wear it, and others rarely notice. Our focus is on maximum improvement, without risk of harm. Not on illusions. And you can trust that.
